ADAIRVILLE, Ky. – A Logan County man faces child sexual exploitation charges after an undercover internet investigation.
The Adairville Police Department says Anthony Kirkpatrick, 33, of Adairville, was arrested on Friday.
Kirkpatrick is charged with 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12.
The Adairville Police Department and Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch launched an investigation of Kirkpatrick after he allegedly shared images of child sexual abuse material.
KSP seized the equipment Kirkpatrick allegedly used to commit the crimes.
Kirkpatrick was lodged at the Logan County Jail. His cash bond is set at $40,000.
Kentucky State Police, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and DCBS assisted the investigation.
The Kentucky State Police is now leading the investigation, which is ongoing.
