Great weather arriving today with lower humidity and cooler temperatures. Any clouds will eventually give way to more sun. We need rain as drought conditions are developing and there is not much in the forecast ahead. Warmer temperatures return late week.
We will be watching Major Hurricane Erin through much of the week and it is not coming to Connecticut! It has strengthened again to Category 4 & moving east of The Bahamas. It will likely be a Category 2 hurricane as it pulls away from the Mid-Atlantic and New England coastline later this week. Rough surf and dangerous rip currents expected all the way north to Maine. Boaters need to pay attention to all advisories!
