The July heat continues with highs in the 90s returning during our Friday afternoon. Humidity levels rise to “Tropical” on the Muggy Meter.

Temps fall as low as the upper 60s during the early morning. Like other recent mornings this week, some patches of fog, thick in spots, will be possible.
Some scattered rain tracks in during the morning, along with the chance of a few storms. Much of the day will be dry, however. When storms do track through, a few gusty and strong/severe storms will be possible with some torrential downpours not out of the question, due to our high humidity levels. One of Friday’s best chances of scattered rain and storms will come in the morning for areas north of Fort Wayne. We can’t rule out additional periods of scattered rain and storms across the region from afternoon to evening, though.
Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s. With the tropical humidity factored in, it will feel like the upper 90s.

Any Friday night plans? Be ready for a warm, muggy night with a few passing storms possible and temperatures only falling into the lower 70s by early morning Saturday. Not the kind of night to leave the windows open. Air conditioning will be the better option, if you have it.
Saturday will be another hot and sticky one. The best rain/storm chances come during the late afternoon and evening hours. A few scattered strong/severe storms are possible on Saturday, too. Saturday’s high temps will be right around 90°. It’ll be a hot, humid day to be out at the air show. With the humidity factored in, it will feel like the upper 90s.

The second day of the air show, on Sunday, is looking a bit more comfortable. It’ll still be humid, but not quite as hot with highs in the mid-80s. There’s only a slight rain/storm chance in the picture.
The heat turns back up early in the week with highs at 90° or above Tuesday and Wednesday. Then cooler air follows rain and storms on Wednesday. From Thu-Sat next week, highs will be near 80° or just above.
