Man dead, another detained after violent encounter at Flagami home: Miami Police

One man has died and another was detained after a violent encounter at a home in Miami’s Flagami neighborhood on Tuesday morning, police said.

Miami Police officials said officers responded to the home in the 5100 block of Northwest 4th Terrace shortly after 8 a.m. for a call of two men who were engaged in a physical altercation.

Both men were taken to a local hospital, where one of them was later pronounced dead, police said.

The second man was being detained. Police haven’t released either man’s identity.

Multiple officers were seen outside the home, which was closed off by yellow crime scene tape.

An investigation was ongoing.
