WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Wallingford man is facing several charges related to child sexual abuse after an investigation that took more than a year, according to authorities.
Charles Giordano, 47, was charged with engaging a minor in obscene performance, commercial sexual abuse of a minor, enticing a minor, risk of injury/impairing the morals of a minor, importing child pornography and possessing child pornography.
The FBI received an initial complaint on April 17, 2024, due to alleged inappropriate texts between Giordano and a minor.
Police said the suspect was arrested on Monday in the parking lot of his residence.
He was held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.
