1 dead after shooting in Roswell

ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – One person is dead after a shooting in southeastern New Mexico. Just before 7 a.m. on Monday morning, Roswell police responded to a shooting in the area of North Sherman Ave. and 23rd Street.

They said the male victim knocked on the door of a home, and the residents drove him to the hospital, where he later died. Police say they were able to locate the car the suspect fled in, but it is unclear if anyone was arrested.
