BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced to 11 years in prison after an Orchard Park resident was found dead of a drug overdose in 2022, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Officials said an individual identified as C.R. was found dead in his Orchard Park residence on Dec. 9, 2022. Several items were recovered from his bedroom, including suspected fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and his cell phone.
C.R. frequently communicated with a phone number linked to Antonio Gutierrez, 29, of Buffalo, including in the hours before his death. In addition, Gutierrez’s DNA was found on a glassine envelope recovered at C.R.’s residence.
