Pumpkin spice season is nearly here.
Beginning this week, Starbucks’ highly anticipated fall menu will return to coffeeshops, with the fan-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte along with other seasonal favorites and several new items.
The fall menu comes as temperatures in Chicago start to get cool and crisp, with mornings in the 50s and 60s.
Cool Autumn-like weather will persist through the first half of the week. Aside from a possible lingering isolated shower early this evening, dry conditions are expected much of this week. #ILwx #INwx pic.twitter.com/Wg6ent9ySj

According to Starbucks, the PSL will officially hit stores Tuesday, Aug. 26. Along with the beloved drink, the fall menu for 2025 also includes the return of Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk, Starbucks said.
New for the fall menu this year will be a Pecan Oatmilk Cortado, and Italian Sausage Egg Bites, the coffee giant said.
Starbucks beloved PSL comes five days after Dunkin’s fall menu hit stores, accompanied by its own Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Dunkin’ also launched a Cereal ‘N Milk Latte and new Iced Pumpkin Loaf on its fall menu, which join its returning Pumpkin Cake Donut and Pumpkin Munchkins Donut Hole Treats.
Other returning fall menu items at Dunkin include the Kreme Delight Donut, Chipotle Loaded Hash Browns and Maple Sugar Bacon.
