KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An 11-year-old Olathe girl struck by a boat propeller at Table Rock Lake had to be taken to a Springfield hospital by Air Care on Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says this happened just before 4 p.m. Saturday near PT 5 south of Branson West.

A report says she jumped off the boat to help another swimmer when she was struck by the propeller.
She suffered serious injuries according to the report.
