DENVER (KDVR) — Mount Galbraith Park in Jefferson County is closed on Sunday due to a fire.
Jefferson County Parks and Open Space said in a post on X just after 10 a.m. that the park is closed until further notice due to a fire.
Mount Galbraith Park is located just off Golden Gate Canyon Road and is home to several popular hiking trails.
The Jefferson County Sheriff told FOX31 that it is a small fire.
The sheriff’s office said crews are working to get the fire under control. No evacuations are in place and no structures are threatened.
