CHICAGO (WGN) — Thousands of boaters and buyers will converge upon Navy Pier Marina this weekend as the Chicago International Boat Show comes to town.
“Could not be prouder, between the air and water show and this boat show, we’ve had a couple of intense but exciting weeks,” said Randy Podolsky, founder and developer of Navy Pier Marina. “It’s great to see this come to fruition for the City of Chicago.”
Scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, Thursday was “Preview Day” for the event.
WGN’s Angelica Sanchez was able to get a tour of a 2010 Lazzara 78 LSX—an American-made boat with four state rooms and pretty much anything needed for a great summer day on Lake Michigan.
