The shocking death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan continues to spark heated debate—and now, Bubba the Love Sponge is pointing the finger directly at Eric Bischoff.
While speaking on Wrestling with the Devil, Bubba was asked about Brooke Hogan’s recent comments regarding a business partner of her father’s that the family didn’t trust. Without hesitation, Bubba dropped Bischoff’s name and claimed he pushed Hogan too hard in his final months.
“Brooke said something about he had a business partner that none of them really liked and kind of pushed him too much.”
Bubba immediately cut in with:
“Eric Bischoff. I knew it. Okay. Eric Bischoff. I’m just telling you—Eric fing Bischoff. You didn’t even have to finish the question, and I knew who the f it was. Hell, let’s go a step further. Eric Bischoff killed Hulk Hogan. I mean, there’s a scoop for ya. Eric Bischoff ran that guy ragged. From the wrestling promotion, to having to be on FOX and Friends to having to be in Cleveland.”
From there, Bubba expanded on his accusation, tying Bischoff directly to Hogan’s final business venture, Real American Freestyle.
“This August 30th thing was going to succeed, but you know, Eric Bischoff’s got large ownership in it. So, the better that it does, the more that he, you know… Eric doesn’t have any really money-making ventures right now. This was going to be his big pie-in-the-sky money deal, but it was going to be solely on the back of Hulk Hogan’s likeness and promotion.”
Bubba didn’t hold back, making it clear who he blames:
“So, you know, I think Eric Bischoff—I think his handlers—and Eric being at the top of that list had a lot to do with Terry’s demise.”
According to Bubba, Bischoff’s financial interest in Hogan’s business forced the WWE Hall of Famer into an exhausting schedule, even as he recovered from surgery. Bubba claims this overexertion ultimately contributed to Hogan’s health collapse and death.
With accusations of medical malpractice already surrounding Hogan’s passing, Bubba’s latest remarks add another explosive wrinkle to the story. Whether Bischoff chooses to respond remains to be seen, but the finger-pointing from Hogan’s inner circle isn’t slowing down.
Do you believe Bubba’s claim that Eric Bischoff pushed Hulk Hogan too far in his final months—or is this just another layer of controversy in an already complex story? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
