Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Anaheim.
On Aug. 9, Anaheim police responded to a collision near Knott and Orange Avenues shortly before midnight.
An investigation revealed the victim was crossing Knott Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop to check on the victim and sped away from the scene instead.
Arriving officers found the victim with severe injuries. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Three days later, he died from his injuries. He was only identified as a 58-year-old Stanton man.
The suspect remains at large. Their vehicle is described as a red or maroon-colored sedan. Surveillance footage captured the vehicle fleeing the area.
