NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Boy band member, actor and TV host, Nick Lachey is excited that his Netflix show, “Love is Blind” will be casting New Orleans singles that are looking for love.
For nearly 30 years, 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey has been bringing the heat.
“If you are wandering around Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday, I think our song, ‘Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)’ is incredibly appropriate. I find myself singing it as I go down Bourbon Street or Frenchmen Street. I love New Orleans,” Lachey said.
Something else that’s music to his fans ears is his reality television dating show on Netflix, “Love is Blind,” is now casting singles in New Orleans.
“If you’re looking for love and the conventional dating world has not been kind to you then “Love is Blind” is incredible way to meet people and get to know them for their true selves. The proof is in the pudding, incredible marriages that have lasted years and years came from the show. Come audition and check out what the casting call is all about,” Lachey said.
Another project near and dear to Lachey’s heart is raising awareness about cat allergies and dating. That’s why he’s teamed up with Purina veterinarian, Michelle Moyal for the “Live Clear, Love Clear” campaign.
The “Live Clear, Love Clear” series follows three real life couples who are struggling to navigate cat allergens in the dating world and it can be a real obstacle.

Michelle Moyal said, “Many people may not realize that the allergies are spread onto the fur of the cat. While they groom it is in their saliva, and once it’s on the fur it dries and then it goes into the environment.”
Moyal suggests Purina One food that will help neutralize the allergen by 47 percent at day 21 of feeding.
“Three weeks and it’s a simple and effective solution to our cat owners and their partners,” Moyal said.
Lachey said that he grew up with three cats named: Buzzy, Oreo, and Squeaky.
“Luckily for me, I don’t have a sensitivity to cat allergens, but to those who do have them it could be a real problem in your life. This is a simple way to combat that problem,” Lachey said.
Nick Lachey and his band 98 Degrees are releasing a new album called, “Full Circle” in October.
