A bicyclist was struck and killed by a teenager on a dirt bike on the Rickenbacker Causeway Friday night, Miami Police Officials said.
On Monday, authorities confirmed that the dirt bike rider is 14.
The crash happened around 8:20 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the causeway when the man on the bicycle was struck.
The victim, identified as 54-year-old Fabian Moses, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the teenager was also taken to the hospital with facial injuries. A female passenger on the back of the dirt bike was not hurt.
An investigation into the crash was ongoing and charges are pending, police said.
