HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department says a man barricaded himself in an apartment just outside of Gate 10 near Redstone Arsenal.
The police department told News 19 that officers were responding to a shots fired call in the area of Patton Road and Telstar Circle.
A man barricaded himself in an apartment building after officials said someone shot into an apartment. There have been no reported injuries.
Drivers are asked to avoid Gate 10. Redstone Arsenal is aware of the situation.
HEMSI, SWAT and crisis response and negotiators are assisting at the scene.
