ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was a fried food fiesta as Albuquerque residents’ taste buds were treated to a deep dive into deep-fried foods. Food truck owners are crafting these recipes from scratch, creating layered, bold flavors you can only find at each unique vendor at the park.
“The Fried Food Festival was inspired by the amount of fried food items that are on our food trucks. People love fried food. When you put that together with some beer and some good times and some games, you get this,” says Alex Chavez, operations manager with ABQ Food Park. “Anything your heart desires, it’s here at the ABQ Food Park. Yes, and more.”
Organizers say they want the ABQ Food Park to be the spot for families across the metro to enjoy a good time in a safe environment.
