NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Few more hours left to Saturday’s Heat Advisory which started at 10 a.m. and expires at 7 p.m.
Temperatures made it into the low-to-mid 90’s on Saturday all across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi as Heat Index values approached the 110-mark courtesy of the humidity.
Temperatures will be starting to dip down heading into the overnight hours reaching the low 80s, but unfortunately it’s not going to bring us too much relief.
Because while temperatures are trying to “cool off,” the humidity will actually be on the rise.
Don’t even rely on the rain for relief with it being on the drier side throughout the day and continuing through the overnight hours too…
Which is awesome news though to anyone looking to get out on the town this evening! 🙂
