Four people were injured in a string of stabbings and one shooting late Friday and early Saturday morning, according to the Denver Police Department.
Officers responded to three stabbings and one shooting in the city’s Hampden, Capitol Hill, Green Valley Ranch and West Colfax neighborhoods, the agency said in social media posts.
- One man was injured in a stabbing in the 9800 block of East Iliff Avenue, police said at 9:56 p.m. Friday. Further information about his injuries was not available, and one person was arrested.
- One man was injured in a stabbing in the 1400 block of North Pennsylvania Street, Denver police said at 12:07 a.m. Saturday. The extent of his injuries were unknown and officers are working on identifying a suspect.
- One person was injured in a shooting in the 18400 block of Elmendorf Drive, the agency said at 3:51 a.m. More information about their injuries was not available, and police are working to identify a suspect.
- One person was injured in a stabbing in the 1300 block of North Lowell Boulevard, police said at 3:55 a.m. Further information about their injuries was not available, and two people were detained in the case.
Denver police could not immediately be reached for comment about the stabbings and shooting.
