FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A new thrift event is coming to Fort Wayne. The Fort Wayne Nonprofit Thrift Trail will take place across the city on August 15 and 16.
The Nonprofit Thrift Trail will be a passport-style crawl across nine local thrift stores. Participants in the trail will pick up a passport from one of the participating stores, Visit Fort Wayne, or print their own.
Along the trail, shoppers will encounter 30% off discounts at participating stores when using their passport and stamps to enter raffles.
Each participating nonprofit thrift store supports a local mission. Shopping at these stores will help support these missions, from job training to addressing food insecurity.
The nine participating stores are Blue Jacket Clothing Company, four Franciscan Center and Family Thrift locations, Fort Wayne Habitat ReStore, Dove’s Nest Thrift Shop, The Lighthouse Family Thrift Store, and Renew by Blue Jacket.
