A person was struck by a vehicle on the 210 Freeway near Monrovia Thursday morning, closing several lanes of traffic for more than an hour.
The person had exited their vehicle and was on the eastbound freeway east of Myrtle Avenue when they were struck by another vehicle at about 9:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
They’ve been taken to a nearby hospital, and CHP is investigating it as a major injury traffic collision.
A SigAlert was issued for the HOV and No. 1 lanes, though they were reopened shortly after 11 a.m.
