(FOX 5/KUSI) — A stretch of Highway 78 in northern San Diego County will be closed for three nights in mid-August so bridge demolition work can take place.
The stretch of highway that will be fully closed is between Sycamore Avenue and Mar Vista Drive, in the city of Vista.
The nightly closures will start at 10 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m., from August 11 to 14, according to the city and Caltrans.
During the closures, traffic will be diverted onto surrounding streets, and some drivers may see crews directing traffic, the city said.
The work may produce noise, including backup alarms, and there will be lighting equipment used throughout the work.
