The proverbial injury bug strikes another WWE NXT star.
Adrianna Rizzo of The D’Angelo Family confirmed she’s out of action with a serious knee injury. In a tweet, Rizzo revealed she suffered a torn ACL and meniscus.
“Here we go again… torn ACL + meniscus,” she wrote. “A setback, not the end. As some of you know, I’ve had a string of bad luck with injuries. Ready to attack this and come back 100% healthy for the first time in my WWE career.”

Adriana Rizzo was heavily involved in the The D’Angelo Family implosion storyline. However, she was sent into hiding by Tony D’Angelo in the aftermath of Stacks’ betrayal.
It appears Rizzo’s injury prevented her from appearing on-screen for the implosion angle.
She last competed on WWE NXT television in March, but her last official match came as part of the WWE World showcase for WrestleMania 41 on April 18.
