A man was shot and robbed in Miramar early Sunday.
The injured man was found inside a residence near the 3000 block of Southwest 147th Terrace, Miramar Police said. The incident happened around 1:50 a.m.
Detectives tell NBC6 preliminary information indicates an unknown male confronted the victim and demanded his watch. The suspect shot the man and left the scene.
It appears the incident happened near the Solena Miramar Apartments and Residence Inn off Miramar Parkway. Video from the scene showed officers in the parking lot placing items inside evidence bags.
Police searched the area for the suspect, but he was not found.
The victim was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive, according to Miramar Police.
