Semi-truck carrying gravel rolls over on I-70 in Wheat Ridge

DENVER (KDVR) — A semi-truck rolled over on Interstate 70 near Highway 58 in Wheat Ridge at around 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

The crash closed eastbound the eastbound CO 58 ramp to I-70 for some time and caused gravel that was being transported to spill onto southbound Youngfield Street, Wheat Ridge police said.

Arvada Fire said no injuries were reported at the scene and that a “minor” fuel leak and hydraulic fluid leak were both contained.

All roads have since been reopened.
