John Cena will officially be participating in a match at WWE Clash in Paris, against a man that’s riled up all of the WWE Universe.
During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Cena came down to the ring to discuss WWE SummerSlam. After a long talk about how he isn’t afraid of Brock Lesnar, Cena was interrupted by none other than Logan Paul. Amidst a crowd chanting expletives at him, Paul began to mock Cena.
Logan called John a “fraud,” and said Cena even admitted to Paul that he does WWE “better than anyone.” Cena said he still agrees with that, but said Paul is also the biggest dumbass he knows. After some more back and forth, Paul challenged Cena for a match at Clash in Paris. Cena was then ambushed by Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes came out to make the save.
After setting up a tag team match tonight, Cena also accepted Paul’s challenge for a match. WWE Clash in Paris will take place on August 31, 2025, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. The updated card for the show includes:
- WWE Women’s World Championship: Naomi (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul
