(KRON) — “Don’t run. We will catch you.”
The California Highway Patrol said that it nabbed a BMW M4 driver who allegedly posted social media content of him speeding dangerously at 170 mph.
“Have you seen this reckless behavior posted to social media?” asked CHP in a video recapping the incident, which can be viewed in the player above. “This repeat reckless driver has endangered countless lives. Not today though.”
CHP said its Hayward Area office and Napa Air 37 unit took the unidentified man into custody following a vehicle pursuit. The date and location of the incident was not disclosed.
The suspect faces charges, including reckless driving and felony evading.
The BMW was impounded, said officials.
