INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Heat and humidity build for the weekend. It will feel incredibly uncomfortable with feels like temperatures close to the triple digits.
We will continue to add on to the 90 degrees tally that we’ve already been seeing this year. More 90 degree temperatures will be possible for the weekend.
TODAY: Mild and muggy conditions to start off the morning under mostly sunny skies. Look for dry conditions for the day today. It is going to be hot and humid. High temperatures climbing into the upper 80s near 90. Feels like temperatures will be around the low and maybe even middle 90s at times today. If you are going to be out and about make sure to grab some shade when you can and stay hydrated.
TONIGHT: If you are heading to the Indianapolis Indians game tonight or the Indiana State Fair it will continue to be very muggy heading into the evening hours. Overnight mostly clear lows will fall into the upper 60s near 70.
TOMORROW: Sunny skies on Saturday with high temperatures climbing near 90. This will likely be the warmest day of the next several days. We will look for temperatures to be climbing into the middle and upper 90s near the triple digits. It looks like we may be just shy of heat advisory criteria for your Saturday. Use caution when out and about all weekend long.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: A few clouds for Sunday with high temperatures again near 90. Feels like temperatures will be into the mid 90s.
The heat continues for the beginning of next week. High temperatures will be close to 90 on Monday with a few spotty showers that could pop up later in the afternoon.
Scattered showers on Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures into the mid and upper 80s.
