The family just got bigger. On the July 4th episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa made it official—Tala Tonga is now part of his MFT, which stands for My Family Tree. The announcement came just weeks after Tala’s main roster debut at WWE Night of Champions, where he attacked Jacob Fatu and helped Solo capture the United States Championship.
Tala, formerly known as Hikuleo in NJPW, made an immediate impact when he showed up at Night of Champions, making it clear that his loyalty lies with Solo Sikoa and not the wider Anoa’i family drama.
The same night Tala made his debut, his brother Tonga Loa also returned from injury, marking his first appearance since WWE Survivor Series 2024.
With Tala Tonga now officially part of MFT, the group includes Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Tama Tonga, who remains out with an injury. The faction continues to grow as Solo builds his own version of family dominance on SmackDown, separate from Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
Love them or hate them, the MFT isn’t going anywhere—and with Solo pulling the strings, it’s only getting more dangerous.
