FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Following widespread tree damage caused by the June 29 storms, Springfield Environmental Services will waive brush disposal fees at the Yardwaste Recycling Center and Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill facilities beginning Tuesday, July 1 – Saturday, July 26 to accommodate community cleanup efforts.
At this time, these facilities will be open during normal operating hours:
Yardwaste Recycling Center – 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday
Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill – 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday
Both facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Those with small, residential loads of tree limbs and brush are advised to go to the Yardwaste Recycling Center (3790 S. Farm Road 119, Brookline, MO) for disposal. Larger, commercial scale debris including large diameter trees and root balls are directed to a burn site at the Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill (3545 W Farm Road 34, Willard).
