Montco Farm Challenge

Participating in the farm challenge is easy! Just take a picture as you complete the activities on your card. Then, submit all pictures from your farm challenge to the Montgomery County Food Policy Council. Complete the Montco Farm Challenge Submission Form and submit by November 30, 2025!
Find a Farm & Complete Activities

- Complete a corn maze
- Eat farm fresh ice cream
- Grow your own food
- Go pumpkin picking
- Go to a Montgomery County Food Policy Council meeting
- Cook a meal with local ingredients
- Use some locally produced maple syrup
- Drink Montco-made milk
- Visit a local brewery or winery
- Find a scarecrow
- Donate to a local food pantry
- Attend a farmers market
- Enjoy a hayride
- Stop at a roadside farm stand
- Pick your own flowers
- Try some new produce
- Visit the Peter Wentz Homestead
- Enjoy some fresh apple cider or apple cider donuts
- Find an antique farm vehicle
- Take a horseback ride
- Go to a summer fair
- Squish a spotted lanternfly
- Taste local honey
- Volunteer at a local farm or community garden
