PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Palestinian sources reported that Israeli drones are firing towards civilian homes in Jabaliya, located in the northern Gaza Strip.

STATEMENT: Inas Hamdan, the Media Office Head at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), stated that 5,000 children in the Gaza Strip are suffering from severe acute malnutrition due to the scarcity of aid.

Earlier, UNRWA emphasized on X that access to food is a fundamental human right. The agency highlighted that Israel’s siege on Gaza is preventing desperately needy individuals from obtaining essential food supplies.

PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Two people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli bombardment of a tent sheltering displaced individuals in Al-Mawasi, northwest of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip. The casualties were reported by a medical source at Nasser Hospital.

PALESTINIAN MEDIA: Al-Aqsa Satellite Channel reported that social media platforms and Israeli-affiliated media outlets are indicating a “difficult security incident” has occurred in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. Military evacuation helicopters reportedly transported wounded soldiers to hospitals recently.

Meanwhile, the Israeli website Hadashot Hamot stated that “difficult fighting is currently taking place in Khan Yunis,” and that “warplanes intervened in an area where an engineering unit force is operating, amidst repeated attempts by helicopters designated for evacuating the wounded to land.”

PALESTINIAN MEDIA: The Palestinian Information Center confirmed that one civilian was killed and several others were injured when the Israeli army targeted individuals awaiting aid in the Netzarim axis, central Gaza Strip.

Separately, on Friday, June 20, the group also reportedly destroyed two Merkava tanks, an armored personnel carrier, and a D9 military bulldozer in eastern Jabaliya, in northern Gaza, using pre-planted high-explosive landmines.
