It’s been an annual event since 1873! Mulvane Old Settlers Days returns August 21–24, 2025, celebrating homespun fun in this historic Kansas town.
The beloved four-day festival combines small-town charm with big-time community with rodeo nights, a lively parade, arts & crafts, a carnival, and family-friendly contests all centered around Main Street Park.

Mulvane, KS Fall Festival Info
Mulvane Old Settlers Days typically runs the third full weekend of August each year. Spread across Thursday through Sunday, Mulvane Old Settlers offers something for everyone—from a road race kickoff to evening rodeo shows, live music, and the popular arts & crafts fair. A festival button (available at local businesses) provides entry to Main Street Park events; rodeo tickets are separate.
Activities kick off on Thursday with evening events, followed by a packed Friday and Saturday at Main Street Park and then the golf tournament serves as a finale on Sunday.
The hub o’ fun will be at Main Street Park (on 4th and Main), where the outdoor stage is. In the park, you’ll find arts & crafts, carnival fun, community contests and music. The Mulvane Rodeo Arena on nearby Boxelder Ave. hosts the rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights.

Most activities take place in and around Main Street Park at 4th & Main, with the rodeo held at the Mulvane Rodeo Arena.

Here’s the live music lineup for Mulvane Old Settlers Days! There’s a concert Thursday evening, and then street dances on both Friday and Saturday nights, from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.

Rodeo Details & Ticket Info
The Mulvane Rodeo Arena hosts the rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. Tickets are sold separately, with $10 for adults, $5 for ages 8–12, and free for children 7 & under.
Parade & Main Street Festivities
The parade is on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Grab your lawn chairs and set up somewhere along the route from 1st & Main to 2nd & English. They’ll have lots of free candy!
After the parade, Main Street Park will be buzzing with live music, vendor booths, food trucks, and kid activities throughout the afternoon.
Car & Bike Show
The annual Rod Run revs up early on Saturday morning at St. Michael’s Church parking lot. Register ahead if you want to show a car. Otherwise just show up and enjoy the vehicles!
Parking
You can probably find a spot along the Main or on one of the side streets to park. Bring your lawn chairs and come ready to enjoy the small-town festivities.

My husband and I participated in the parade one year with the Wichita Flea Market and it was a blast. I couldn’t believe how many floats and participants there were in the parade. TONS of FREE candy for the kids. It was a great day of fun and I highly recommend putting this event on your calendar.
