COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday night shooting that injured a teenager.
The shooting happened behind Colleton Heights Apartments shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to Colleton County Fire Rescue.

Officials said a reported domestic incident escalated with a person discharging a firearm. A 14-year-old was struck in the hand during the incident.
He was treated at the scene for a non-life-threatening injury and then taken to an area hospital for additional care.
The investigation is ongoing.
