According to a report from from Page Six, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is opening a 9000 square foot, $7 million bar opposite Madison Square Garden.
The report also notes the bar, which will open this fall, will be called Slam and have a wall of windows facing the arena.
Furthermore, it was said that the location, which is owned by New York nightlife veteran Rich Rosen will be filled with Hogan memorabilia, made to look like the inside of Madison Square Garden, will have screens playing Hogan’s greatest moments, three floors that also includes a rooftop bar.
The new establishment will serve Hogan’s own beer brand, Real American Beer.
Rosen added that says that Hogan does not have a direct ownership stake in the bar, but only a licensing deal that allows the bar to use his name.
The news comes amidst that Hogan’s Real American Beer is looking to purchase the intellectual property for Hooter’s after the restaurant recently filed for bankruptcy.
