A Capital Region paramedic who was on vacation in Germany jumped into action after witnessing two women being harassed on the train. He was then slashed by the attacker who fled the scene.

When you dial 911, you expect help to be just seconds away. But for some families in parts of Saratoga County, cell phone dead zones can slow that response. Officials say it is a danger that you need to be prepared for.
3. Motorcyclist in fatal Colonie crash identified
The motorcyclist who died in a crash on Central Avenue in Colonie has been identified. The Colonie Police Department said it was 24-year-old Amsterdam resident John Luis Graveley.
4. ‘It’s like losing a child:’ Dog owners grieving after pets die at Argyle facility
Families across the Capital Region are grieving Monday after finding out their dogs died while in the care of Anastasia’s Acres Dog Boarding Facility in Argyle. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed 21 dogs died in the facility this past weekend, and one surviving dog was taken to an animal clinic for care.
5. CDTA begins new route connecting Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs
The Capital District Transportation Authority has a new route that connects Glens Falls to Saratoga Springs. The new route, #713, operates Monday through Friday.
