BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Three people from Buffalo were charged and another suspect is still on the loose after they allegedly broke into a home in Orchard Park, assaulted a person, and stole property worth over $30,000, according to police.
Police said around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning, they were called to a residence on Milestrip Road for a reported disturbance. A 39-year-old man with a facial injury and shoulder pain was located in the residence and taken to ECMC. He was treated for serious injuries and released.
Danielle Hennings, 42, Davon Pettigrew, 26, Caija Campbell, 27, and another suspect allegedly broke into the man’s residence and forced their way into his locked bedroom to assault him.
The suspects damaged property in the home and stole over $30,000 worth of property, police said.
Hennings, Pettigrew, and Campbell were charged with burglary, second-degree gang assault, and fourth-degree conspiracy after turning themselves in. Hennings and Pettigrew were also charged with second-degree criminal mischief.
They were arraigned and released on conditions. The three suspects are expected to return to court Aug. 26. An arrest warrant is out for the fourth suspect whose identity is known to police.
More criminal charges are expected to be filed.
