Peoria police were investigating a domestic violence-related shooting Monday that left two people dead.
According to police, officers responded to the area of West Rock Springs Drive and North 78th Lane in reference to the incident.

Police said a preliminary investigation showed that “all involved parties were on scene,” leaving no outstanding threat to the public.
Two unidentified people were found, both suffering fatal gunshot wounds.
No other information had been released as an investigation remained ongoing.
