Andrade El Idolo is recovering from surgery.
In a tweet on November 28, the AEW star revealed that he tore his pectoral muscle a few months ago. He stated that, at the time, he finished the match. Andrade also noted that he got surgery for the injury. It is currently unclear how long he will be sidelined. Andrade last wrestled at AEW All Out on September 4, where he competed in the Casino Ladder Match.

Andrade was scheduled to face Preston Vance (10) on the October 7 episode of AEW Rampage, but the match was canceled. On October 5, Andrade reportedly got sent him after he got into a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara.
