BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two juveniles, a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old, were charged with robbery and a slew of other charges after they allegedly used weapons to rob a victim in Medina, according to police.
Officials said Medina Police were dispatched to 729 Church Street around 4 p.m. on Aug. 21. The victim stated that two people displayed handguns and demanded his money, taking $300. He said one of the weapons appeared to be a Glock 17.
The teens were arrested on Aug. 25 following an investigation and charged with the following:
- second-degree robbery, aided by another
- second-degree robbery, display what appears to be a firearm
- second-degree menacing with a weapon
- fourth-degree conspiracy
- second-degree reckless endangerment
- endangering the welfare of a child
The 17-year-old was arraigned and the 13-year-old was released on a juvenile appearance ticket, per New York State law.
