I’m going to tell you the problem with Longmont. First, we don’t have enough cops. We need to hire more police. There’s not enough for this town; it’s gotten too big. Secondly, we need to get rid of our City Council and the mayor. They have done nothing but cause problems and raise our rates on everything. Think about it.
For the record: I can attest to the police in Longmont patrolling during the night hours, as I see them often when I’m walking in the dark in the area of Red Cloud Road, early mornings in the … police truck. So they are out there. I see them a lot. Give them a break. Who would want that job now anyway?
I love reading the TC Line, but it’s amazing that with the condition of America as it is today, anyone could praise either political party or politician for that matter. Just look around you.
The city wants us to have more affordable housing units, but with all the various exorbitant rate increases they’ve just approved for utilities, there isn’t going to be any affordable housing.
Do party labels matter? It’s much like science. It’s very difficult to prove a theorem is true, but it only takes one failure to prove it’s false. In politics, it’s not always easy to tell if a Republican will be good for the office they seek, but registering as a Democrat tells you enough about a person to know they will be bad.
When are the radical enviro groups going to realize that curbside composting is not popular with the public? There’s only 22% participation rate in four years of this unneeded program in Longmont. To make composting mandatory with no fee opt out would be an outrage for the city, and City Council had better listen up.
This is concerning the (curbside) composting in Longmont. City Council, reading between the lines, is looking to charge people $6.60 a month and making it to where you have to do it. But if they can’t do it for apartment complexes, I believe that would make it illegal. You can’t force it on some of the people and not others.
Let’s go, Brandon
Entire football stadiums and entire galleries in a NASCAR race are hollering the same thing. NBC says it’s “Let’s go, Brandon.” Who is this is Brandon character anyway? Is he the one that’s responsible for all the problems that America has right now?
Skip ’22 and ’24
This is the latest from President Reject, the former guy. He thinks he’s being treated so unfairly that you shouldn’t vote in the ’22 and ’24 elections. I highly encourage you very misguided Republicans to follow that advice to the letter.
