Carlo Ancelotti revealed in Tuesday’s pre-match press conference that Eder Militao and Rodrygo should return to Real Madrid starting XI for their Wednesday night Champions League match against Sheriff Tiraspol and he has stayed true to his word.

The Italian said he wouldn’t make many more rotations other than bringing the two Brazilians back to the starting line-up and they are indeed the only two chances compared to the team that beat Granada 4-1 on Sunday.

It is a strong team, then, from Los Blancos as they aim to get some revenge on Sheriff Tiraspol and take top spot in Group D.

The confirmed Sheriff Tiraspol vs Real Madrid line-ups

The Sheriff Tiraspol starting XI is as follows: Giorgos Athanasiadis; Fernando Costanza, Danilo Arboleda, Gustavo Dulanto, Cristiano; Edmund Addo, Sebastien Thill; Adama Traore, Dimitris Kolovos, Bruno; Frank Castaneda.

The Real Madrid starting XI is as follows: Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy; Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Rodrygo; Karim Benzema, Vinicius.
