NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the Little Woods neighborhood on Monday, July 14.
Around 5:45 a.m., NOPD officers said they were called to the scene of a shooting in the 9000 block of Middleboro Road.
Upon arrival, officers reported finding a man shot to death inside of a vehicle.
He was pronounced him dead on the scene.
No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
