HAZEL GREEN, Ala. (WHNT) — One person is dead after a shooting at a home in Hazel Green, according to authorities.
HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster told News 19 that around 8:04 a.m., a call came in about a shooting victim in the 100 block of Butch Circle in Hazel Green.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said preliminary investigation suggests that the incident appears to be domestic violence related.
Webster confirmed that one patient was found dead at the scene. He said the Madison County Sheriff’s Office was continuing to investigate the shooting.
Sheriff’s detectives and CSI are on scene and actively investigating the incident and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
