FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The holiday season is in full swing, and you can check out multiple Christmas markets throughout the weekend to support small businesses this holiday season.
University of Saint Francis Holiday Bazaar
Hosted by the University of Saint Francis, the Holiday Bazaar takes over all three floors of the Rolland Center for Visual Arts with artists and artisans booths. The event will feature live music and free tote bags for the first 200 patrons. The event is completely free for those in attendance.
The Holiday Bazaar is located at 1200 Leesburg Road and is happening Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sleigh Days Christmas Village
The Sleigh Days Christmas Village offers a family-friendly market where patrons can take photos with Santa, get their face painted, hair braiding and crafts. The market also has a toddler play area, which is perfect for those needing to burn little ones’ energy. The event is $5 per person with kids 8 and under getting in for free.
The Sleigh Days Christmas Village runs Dec. 6 and 7 at the Allen County Fairgrounds located at 2726 Carroll Road. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Christmas on the Farm
Salomon Farm Park offers a twist on the traditional holiday market, offering farming fun alongside handmade gifts and goodies. Patrons can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides provided by DeKalb Co. Horsemen, a visit with Santa Claus, games and letter writing to Santa for kids. Alongside vendors from the Wolf Learning Center, attendees will be able to hear live holiday music from Mike Conley and good eats in the Old Barn. Admission for the event is $5 per car.
Salomon Farm is located at 817 West Dupont Road with the event running Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Christmas Craft Fair
Hosted by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, this fair features unique handmade goods from plants and pottery to hand-sewn items and stocking stuffers. Chili, pizza and snacks will also be available for purchase. The market is completely free to attend.
The Christmas Craft Fair runs Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church located at 10700 Aboite Center Road.
