DENVER (KDVR) — Foodies have four new restaurants to try at the Denver Milk Market downtown this summer.
The Denver Milk Market had several restaurants already, but the menu is expanding with new cuisine options including Ethiopian food, fried chicken and Asian foods.
Three of the restaurants are now open for business, and one is set to open next month, according to a release from the market.
The new restaurants include:
- Konjo Ethiopian Food
- Lucky Bird Fried Chicken
- East3
- YumCha Noodles & Dumplings (opening in July)
Konjo Ethiopian Food, founded by longtime friends from Ethiopia, serves fast, healthy Ethiopian food, according to a release from the market. The menu includes traditional plates served with injera flatbread and Rice Bowls served with a bed of Turmeric rice and one roll of injera flatbread on the side. The restaurant serves dishes with beef, chicken and lamb, and also has vegan options.

The Milk Market said that Lucky Bird is “Colorado’s premier fried chicken concept.” The restaurant serves hand-crafted chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads and wraps, as well as sweet potato waffle fries and a Lucky Slaw.

East3 is a brand new concept that combines cuisine from Thailand, Japan and the Philippines in one bowl, and diners can choose from proteins including big eye tuna, yellowtail hamachi, Norwegian salmon, jumbo lump crab and tofu.
Later this summer, the market said it will add YumCha Noodles and Dumplings, a restaurant serving street Asian food inspired by Chef Lon Symensma’s travels around Asia.
Full menus for all restaurants at the Denver Milk Market are available on the website.
